We all want lustrous, soft and silky hair, Aren't we????
But these days busy schedule, pollution and lack of care can make our hair lifeless, dull and dry.
It can be a serious problem and the causes to dry can be many like chlorinated water, pollution, sunlight, hair sprays ,heating ,perming, relaxing, using very hot water to wash hair etc.(Actually the reasons can be many).
Tips for dry hair.
1.Almond oil massage every alternative days is very good for dry hair. You can also use a mixture of olive ,coconut and few drops anyyurvedic oil ( I my case i use a Patanjali Tejus Tailum has vitamin E and beautiful aroma)
2.After massaging for 10 to 15 mints dip a towel in warm water and wrap your hair in it .Leave for 10- 15 mints and shampoo it off with good shampoo which had good moisturizer for hair.(you get many such good products in the market )
3.Yogurt is a miraculous product and is very good for dry hair. Massage the yogurt in your hair for about 10 to 15 mints and wash it off with cold water.
4.Coconut milk is also very good if you are having dry hair.
5 The most common external cause is of course excessive shampooing. Yes shampoos are needed to cleanse your hair of sweat, dirt, and excess oil. But a shampoos are also detergents which wash away all the natural hair oil from our hair. And shampooing without using a conditioner harms the hair further.
6. Using a blow dryer or curling iron too often is the second common cause for dry hair. Avoid heating and too many hair styling products on daily basis . You can definitely style you hair when needed or there is a occasion but not daily.
7 Choose mild shampoos and conditioners.you can use shampoo bars to make your hair clean but it should be used rarely as its very harsh to hair. After shampooing your hair use a shampoo comb and do not comb your hair immediately that makes hair more freezy . You can might as well use your hands as brush or lighty comb all over your hair.
8.Very important is a healthy diet !Incorporate green veggies, salads, nuts, and proteins in your diet.
9One should follow healthy hair routine to avoid split ends and only then you can achieve desired length and healthy hair.
10.You can opt for very short trims in 6 to 10 weeks in case you are planning to grow your hair .If your hair growth is very slow trimming frequently is not a good idea because if you keep trimming then whats the point in growing???.The main idea is have a healthy hair!!!
Hair packs can also be beneficial . you can go for a Ayurveda pack or try some products/L'oreal/matrix etc But i would recommend hair mask from LUSH(Which i use).
H'Suan Wen Hua Hair TreatmentYou can choose a hair mask or a moisturizer. They contains tons of natural ingredients (what Lush is known best for)...free range eggs (the main ingredient) bananas, avocados, watercress, bay leaves, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, rosemary, and cinnamon oil. It also has some chemicals in it, but just from the consistency and overall effect I can tell how natural and pure it is, which is exactly why I like it so much!
YOu can also use a good serum to smoothen your hair .I use this Loreal Liss Ultime
A silicon-based smoothing serum that works on medium to extremely coarse hair. It helps the blow dry with shine and hold for a few days.
Ginger Dandruff Hair Treatment Recipe
Dandruff is a common form of skin eczema that occurs in parts of the body (usually your scalp) with high oil (sebum) production. Most dandruff problems can be resolved for less with products that you can find at home. Here is a simple homemade dandruff treatment recipe involving ginger that I found earlier.
What You Need: Ginger root, 1 teaspoon organic sesame oil, and 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Directions: Squeeze ginger root to obtain one tablespoon of juice. Mix all ingredients. Apply to scalp and let dry before shampooing. Repeat as needed.
