PENCIL SKIRT - Fashion back to 50's

The French designer Christian Dior introduced the classic modern pencil skirt in the late 1940sThe pencil skirt quickly became very popular, particularly for office wear.In the fifties, the pencil skirt was feminine, sleek and went down to your calves. Today, the pencil skirt can be various lengths, colors, designs etc.

Now back to Bollywood style -  Maliaka Arora Khan at the launch of the second anniversary issue of the Mercedes-Benz Magazine at Crossword, Mumbai wore a white pencil skirt with a fuchsia pink blouse and navy blue high heels.Pencil skirts gives a very vintage look and its quite elegant to wear one.

Karisma Kapur in Zara, keeping it basic. The pencil skirt elongates her torso and the nude heels finish up cleanly.I love with her look wholeheartedly.  (smile)

Angeline Jolie wore a leather pencil skirt teamed up with a satin white shirt and black pumps gives it that red carpet look.
